Intro:
I want to start by explaining why push traffic and why DatsPush.
Push was chosen because it’s currently a fresh, relevant, and underused native ad format. Everyone’s heard of push notifications, but not everyone has actually put them to work yet.
Why DatsPush? Simply put — I look for places where competition is low and it’s easier to skim the cream. Since the DatsPush team was talking about having fresh, converting subscriber lists, I decided to test them. The result of that decision: higher CTR and profit.
Key network advantages worth highlighting:
- Fresh subscriber base;
- Low competition across many GEOs at the moment;
- Accepts WMZ, epay, PayPal for deposits;
- 20% bonus on first deposit of $100+ — just email [email protected]
- High CTR;
- Flexible campaign targeting options;
- Average CPC from $0.003 to $0.006;
- ISP targeting available.
Categories:
- Nutra;
- Adult;
- Gambling;
- Sweepstakes;
- Apps;
I immediately launched a LATAM campaign, since according to the network’s stats, competition there is the lowest. For the offer I picked FireWolf Cleaner from Shakes.mobi.
The routine campaign setup in the intuitive dashboard takes little time — another plus. Title and description length limits are 30 and 45 characters respectively. Creatives come in two sizes: 192x192px for mobile and desktop, 492x328px for desktop only. Accepted image formats are jpg, jpeg, png, max 100KB.

The pre-landers took some trial and error — I tested several and ended up slightly in the red or at break-even. Not a disaster, but not fun either. I decided to test a fairly old pre-lander with a neutral creative since aggressive approaches aren’t allowed, but it still pulled decent CTR.

For GEOs I picked Colombia, Peru, Mexico, Chile, and Uruguay.
Creative:
I went through my swipe file of creatives and tested a couple that I thought would perform. The winner was this one:

On pricing — the top bid for Colombia was just $0.005. Not bad :). Time to show off the results — and there are results!

Verdict:
Spent $400 across all tests, earned $1,218. Net profit: $812 (I’ll skip the cents). Considering this was my first experience with DatsPush on this type of traffic using an age-old creative, it’s a solid win. If you take the network seriously and invest proper effort, you can expect much bigger results. The traffic is there in DatsPush, and it converts.
