Facebook Account Bans and Unbans + Contest
Today the team at Linken Sphere has provided us with a very useful article about working with Facebook. We’ll talk about everyone’s sore spot: account bans and unbans on Facebook, share examples of contact forms for common account issues, and reveal a couple of useful tricks. And at the end of the article, there’s a contest from Linken Sphere!

Chat
The standard FB support chat — as you know, it can’t help much with serious issues, but with the right approach it can still resolve certain problems: for example, getting your bank card removed from Facebook’s blacklist, or getting help with billing issues. You can also write to this chat about issues with a second account — for example, if it’s hit any type of checkpoint, you can report the problem from an active account, just remember that the two profiles need to be friends.
Contact-US
Facebook’s email contact form — extremely useful but underrated. Not everyone knows that through this form you can request a native-language support agent and communicate in your own language. Another big plus is the wide variety of sub-categories available through this form, so everyone can find a solution to their specific problem.
P.S. This is also the form you can use to get yourself a Business Manager with 800 ad accounts, as well as reclaim money in certain billing situations (use your imagination here).
Account Blocked — Unauthorized Access
Only fill out this form if your account was blocked for violating Facebook’s Statement of Rights and Responsibilities. A useful trick with this form: you can also try using it to recover a deactivated social account. It’s worth a shot — there have been successful cases.
Facebook Payments Support
(Form in English) Issues with ads, games, gifts, donations, and other payments.
Ads Pending Review
(Form in English) If your ad has been under review for more than 24 hours — fill out this form.
Facebook Ads: Overview and Tips
(Form in English) Questions about ad costs and billing, improving ad effectiveness, success stories, ads not passing moderation, and more — you can extract very useful information from support here. I recommend everyone try it!
I’m having problems creating a Facebook Page (FB has closed this link — looking for a replacement)
— If you can’t create a Facebook Page, use this form to provide more details. It’s very effective for Fan Page issues.
Also, I recommend following these pages to stay up to date with news and market trends — very relevant right now:
- Facebook for Business — news, tips, and examples of achieving business goals on Facebook.
- Facebook & Privacy — useful info on content sharing on Facebook, latest policy changes, and discussions on digital privacy.
- Facebook Media — learn how public figures and media outlets use Facebook (sometimes in very creative ways) to achieve their goals.
- Facebook Design — the page of the designers, content strategists, and researchers working on Facebook.
- Facebook Live — highlights top public figures and what they’re doing on and off Facebook.
- Facebook Developers — information on building, growing, and monetizing apps on Facebook.
- Facebook Engineering — the page about Facebook’s engineering team.
P.S. A couple of personal tips from me — lately my accounts frequently hit “Not Approved” status (all campaigns getting rejected in bulk). I found a very simple solution: don’t rush to delete the campaign or aggressively duplicate ads by changing the preview image. Often, just submitting an appeal is enough — and your ads will automatically change status to “Approved”. The same applies to Fan Pages — if one goes down, many people immediately start creating more and end up getting blocked from creating pages at all, which usually leads to a checkpoint. Don’t make excessive moves — if your page went down, submit an appeal. The bot often restores it, and in my experience the odds of getting it back are much better than getting rejected. Also, if you’re comfortable in English, don’t hesitate to call support and request phone contact instead of email auto-replies — resolving issues over the phone is far more effective.

Another hot topic is getting your payment method unbanned — where to go, how to approach it, and how it all works.
Simply put, nobody can give you a definitive answer, and even if someone has a secret method, they’re keeping it close to their chest.
My personal advice: seek out trustworthy cards rather than binding low-quality ones, and if your payment method is already banned, try various methods to get it unbanned — use your creativity.
For example, beyond the daily grind of submitting requests — if your payment method is banned in Business Manager, try adding clean accounts to the BM and filing an appeal from those. Voice support also gives you more credibility. Or play dumb and claim your account was hacked and the card isn’t yours.
There’s no definitive playbook for unbanning a payment method, but it’s common knowledge that if you submit tickets every day, the system eventually glitches and unlocks the account.
And the contest:
The team at Linken Sphere is running a contest where you can win 3 Light licenses for Linken Sphere. To enter, write a useful tip related to unbanning Facebook accounts, or post a creative piece on the topic. You need to do this on their forum — here’s the link: https://goo.gl/cfokLk. The 3 most useful comments win. Results will be announced on November 11, so there’s still time.
