Case Study: Facebook + Leadbit Gambling = $18,600
Not long ago we wrote an article about mobile apps at madcpa.ru/prilozheniya-kak-i-otkuda-lit/, and today we’re sharing an excellent case study from a Leadbit webmaster running gambling app traffic from Facebook. The campaign ran for under a month and pulled in $18,600 in profit. The funnel is still running — the author is continuing to scale it as we speak.
Traffic source: Facebook
Affiliate network: Leadbit
Offer: Slotty Vegas
GEO: Germany, Switzerland, Austria
Spend: $9,300
Revenue: $27,900
Profit: $18,600
ROI: 196%
Campaign period: Aug 15 – Sep 4
I’ll be upfront about why I’m sharing a top-performing, active offer that’s still making me good money — Leadbit offered me permanently elevated rates in exchange. How do you get that deal? Be me 😉
No secret here: to run Facebook traffic effectively right now, you need skill and the right toolkit:
1. First thing you need — Facebook accounts. If you’re a newbie thinking about spinning up a few dozen fresh accounts and going straight to running ads — don’t. Accounts need to be registered under different IPs (at minimum you need a proxy), they need some age (at least a month), and each one needs to be warmed up. There’s plenty written about warming up accounts — just search for it.
2. Virtual cards.
You need a lot of virtual cards to attach to your Facebook accounts for ad billing. If you’re thinking about running Facebook on prepay — don’t, at least not for gambling. If the account gets banned with funds still on it, that money is gone.
3. Apps.
The trend of the last couple of years — run traffic through apps! The upside: users who come through your app install it, and then you can reach them with push notifications to motivate them to deposit. Casinos pay for deposits, after all. Without an app, you have to convert users right then and there — which is much harder. Where to get one?
A) Hire a developer for at least $1,500/month. Not a great idea when you’re just starting out. Plus you have to publish apps to Google Play, run traffic to build the app’s reputation, and make sure it doesn’t get banned the first time real traffic hits it. Forget that option.
B) Find someone who rents out apps. But prepare to pay for rental costs plus per-install fees — not ideal.
C) Ask your affiliate program manager for an app. Just create a traffic stream link and send it to your manager. They handle everything else. You get back a link to the app, and that’s what you promote.
Now, let’s get to the case study!
We’re working with 3 recommended GEOs: Germany, Switzerland, Austria.
Offer: Slotty Vegas. We request deep links for our streams and send the campaign/business manager ID to our manager. We set up campaigns in Facebook.
Pro tip: Mixed targeting — include both men and women across all available placements. This helps Facebook optimize cost for each account. After running traffic for a day or two, identify what’s converting best and optimize your campaigns accordingly.
A key difference with Western audiences: people are willing to spend money for the entertainment of gambling itself — unlike some markets where the pitch is about winning money. Don’t over-emphasize earnings. The best creatives are simple: spinning slot reels, satisfying sounds, classic casino aesthetics. Obviously, I’m not going to reveal the exact creatives I’m running — I still need those myself. 😉
Install costs and deposit conversion by GEO:
Germany install cost: $0.80–$1.00
Germany install-to-deposit: 1 in 45
Switzerland install cost: $1.80–$2.10
Switzerland: 1 in 18
Austria install cost: around $2.00
Austria: 1 in 20

The numbers: over 3 weeks I spent $9,300 and earned $27,900. Here’s the screenshot from Leadbit.
Expecting more “juicy” details? 😉 There will be more — once I’ve squeezed this funnel dry. Until then, good luck out there!
