Case Study: Crypto Offer PrimeXBT + Facebook = $6,500 Profit
Today we’re sharing an interesting case study on running crypto traffic. It’s a short one, submitted by an affiliate from the PrimeXBT Affiliate program, but it’s genuinely useful. Here’s the case:
Crypto is gaining momentum right now, so there’s no better time to squeeze everything you can out of it. I was looking for a new offer to run on Facebook and Instagram. I landed on PrimeXBT — the payouts were solid, and I also negotiated with the manager that if results were good, they could be bumped up. Here’s what happened:

Affiliate network: PrimeXBT Affiliate
Offer: PrimeXBT
Traffic source: Instagram and Facebook targeting
Spend: $10,000
Revenue: $16,500
Profit: $6,500
ROI: 67%
I started by choosing GEOs — my previous experience came in handy here. Even though breaking into expensive countries is risky, the deposit rates there are much higher, so I picked three: Australia, Canada, and the UK. I wanted to include the US too, but my manager advised against it since the network doesn’t accept traders from that country.
The offer was in a grey niche, so I had to deal with cloaking for Facebook — but it was worth it. My campaign setup: three countries in one campaign, 6 ad sets inside each, three sets targeting broad audiences (men aged 25–55), then additional sets with interest targeting around cryptocurrency, mining, trading, etc. I had to swap out creatives periodically since they kept getting rejected — I sourced them from spy tools on demand. Here are a few examples:
I didn’t change the landing page — I picked one and stuck with it. At first it was nerve-wracking because money was going out and no deposits were coming in, but don’t let that scare you. It turned out to be completely normal — deposits started rolling in after 4–5 days and kept coming in throughout the entire month I was running the campaign. Worth noting: there’s not that much competition for Facebook in the crypto space, yet the volume is massive. The average CPC across the selected GEOs was around $0.23. During this time I ran about 50 campaigns. The average registration conversion rate was 0.6% (around 165 clicks per registration), and the registration-to-deposit rate was 8.5% (12 registrations per deposit). Overall, out of approximately 43,000 clicks I got 22 deposits. My ROI came in at about 70%. I know some affiliates are getting even higher rates, so this is definitely not the ceiling.

Because these are expensive countries, you can negotiate CPA rates up to $1,000 — my volumes just aren’t there yet, so I’m working with what I have. As a bonus, a small revshare is still trickling in. It’s all pretty straightforward — interest in crypto grows every day, which means the audience does too. Test new GEOs and creatives, and success will follow 😉
