Case Study: $75,000 in Revenue

A $75,000 case study!!! Don’t be surprised — this isn’t my own story. I just think you’ll find it worth reading. The author is https://t.me/idea_business

Here’s the story in his own words:

“At the time I was doing Instagram promotion work, and all my projects were for clients. I had nothing of my own. Then one evening a friend said — let’s build something for ourselves.
That night we mapped out who would do what.
In 3 hours we launched an Instagram shop and kicked off mass-following.

Average order value: $11–15
Markup: 100%
Customer acquisition cost: $1.50

We decided not to put in our own money. All we had was a supplier, a sales platform, and enthusiasm. Our first order came in. We were working with a supplier at the time (a dropshipping contact we knew). We were making $1.50 per sale.

After a few orders, we realized we were making too little. So we decided to buy a batch wholesale to bring the cost down. We borrowed 10 sets and were already making about $2.50 each.

Account profile setup

Tested a blogger — and it worked really well.

We thought we’d struck gold, so we immediately launched with 5 bloggers — but we didn’t know how to pick them yet and burned through all the money. One blogger remained.

We had no budget left for new ads or bloggers.

That evening we sent the last blogger their payment and crossed our fingers that at least this ad would break even — otherwise, we’d shut the project down. And then things exploded.

40 orders in one evening from a single blogger.

Example of a blogger promotional post

After that, things really took off. We were working with bloggers non-stop — booked out two weeks in advance. We ran ads with bloggers who had TV appearances (that was our USP — why people should buy from us specifically).

Then we launched targeted ads.

In the first month we made 1,200 sales. In the second month we kept hitting the plan. (The target was 70 orders per day.)
We wrote sales scripts and launched targeted ad tests. Customer acquisition cost stayed at $1.50.
We launched cross-sells and the average order value grew to $17, at the same acquisition cost.
In the end, over a few months of work, we generated $75,000 in profit.

Initial advertising investment: $2.30. Through reinvestment we scaled the ad budget to $6,150 per month.”

That’s the end of the case study. Watch and learn from people who’ve achieved success — and you will too!
