Case Study: Driving Push Subscriptions with Datspush
Today we’ve got an interesting case study from the Lukhari Team. Push notifications aren’t just great traffic — they’re also a great offer in their own right. This case study proves it: the team ran a campaign over the New Year holiday period using Adsterra and came out profitable.

Offer: push subscribe
CPA Network: Datspush
Traffic Source: Adsterra
Campaign Period: 01/01/2019 – 09/01/2019
GEO: Russia
Spent: $95
Earned: $211
Profit: $116
ROI: 122% (104%)
We’ve said it a thousand times — during the holidays, almost nobody is running traffic. Everyone shuts their campaigns off and heads out on an “indefinite vacation” 🙂
You can use this to your advantage and buy traffic in any GEO for a fraction of the usual cost. Here’s a little secret: you can kill two birds with one stone — actually take your days off and still earn from traffic 😉
Everyone knows the way to make money on cheap holiday traffic is to just fire up a regular campaign overnight… 😀
All it takes is using the campaign start/stop scheduling feature. Set it to launch on January 1st and go enjoy your holiday 😉

You might be wondering — “hey, the numbers don’t add up!” That’s because another network was running at the same time, and in Datspush everything merges into a single stream. I won’t name the other network, but here’s a screenshot to confirm it 🙂

We were running with a partially built blacklist and zero optimization during the holiday period.
Landing Pages:

The best performer on our traffic was the “I’m not a robot” landing page. Either way, we recommend split-testing at least 10 landers.
Make sure to set up a traffic-back and monetize your traffic on the backend. Don’t redirect traffic-back to other push offers — 1) you’ll get banned, and 2) you’re destroying your own push subscriber base.
Bottom line — don’t sleep on holiday traffic. It consistently delivers great results! But that’s not guaranteed 😀
Thanks for reading, and here’s to big Lukhari profits from all of us 😉
