Case Study: Gambling Campaign with Megapu.sh Targeting Egypt and Pakistan

I spent some time searching for an online casino offer paying per registration that accepted worldwide traffic. After monitoring the market, I settled on the hyped Grand Casino. After checking several affiliate programs, I found it in F5stat, where it was listed as accepting WW traffic with a few location exceptions.
I submitted the application, noted that I’d be using push traffic, and the offer got approved. Then I started thinking about which GEOs to target for this run. I decided to try Pakistan, Egypt, and Italy. Why those specifically? Hard to say — I just wanted to test them. Without overthinking it, I set up 3 campaigns in MegaPush using banners that had previously worked well for me in other markets.
For the ad copy, I wrote “Today luck is on your side” and “Bonus up to $3K on your first deposit” — then ran it through Google Translate for each of my target GEOs. Here’s what it looked like:
Now the numbers, broken down by location:
Pakistan
Surprisingly, Pakistan turned out to be the absolute beast of a GEO! It produced 293 conversions worth nearly $430. Spend was $28 as shown in the campaign screenshot above.
Egypt stats:
13 registrations worth just over $18. Spend — under $2.
Then Italy
This GEO went negative — terrible conversion rate, the location seems to have been burned out in MegaPush already. Got 2 registrations worth 11.20 EUR. Spent nearly $84.
Conclusion:
I highly recommend testing browser push notifications as a traffic source — they’re now available in nearly every teaser network.
The advantages of this traffic type: it’s a relatively fresh format with lenient moderation. As for verticals, I’d recommend: browser games, nutra, gambling, crypto/binary. That’s all from me — thanks for reading this case study, and here’s wishing you a great day and profitable campaigns!
