Hey everyone! Decided to share this case study — go easy on me, writing isn’t exactly my strong suit.
I started working with push traffic in another network, but then DatsPush popped up as a fresh new option, and for a while I couldn’t bring myself to try it — I was waiting to hear from colleagues about the traffic quality.
Everything checked out — the traffic is real, so I started running. I work with Romania fairly often because the CPC is low and there’s enough volume to run tests quickly and cheaply.
Since push traffic skews heavily male, I decided to run either a potency or an enhancement offer. Went with potency. Dug through all the well-known spy services and spotted a solid pre-lander — I was about 80% sure it would work. Set it up right away and started running. Just in case, I created a split with 2 pre-landers, since we’re obviously not our own target audience.

Tested 7-8 creatives — “Potency like you’re 18”, “4-hour erection”, etc. — and this one ended up being the winner.
I split campaigns into web and mobile since the prices and traffic volumes differ.
Initial bids were $0.0120 for web and $0.0160 for mobile.
I’ll be upfront — I turned off mobile. Leads were coming in and you could definitely work with it, but I was lazy. The main flow was on web.
After a short initial run, I built a small blacklist, raised the bid, and duplicated the winning ad while turning the others off.
Tracker stats for web and mobile: Mobile went slightly negative, but as you can see, leads were coming in — mobile is definitely worth running.

The spend in the tracker looks lower because I didn’t set up click cost tracking right away.

The pre-lander itself — the classic doctor angle. I knew it would work.
Note:
About the showcase and where that +-$60 came from: after the user clicked through the pre-lander, instead of going straight to the original offer, a second offer appeared — an enhancement product. So if a user doesn’t place an order after the pre-lander, they get shown a second offer. Some users even placed two orders. I can’t give an exact figure since I didn’t analyze it closely — I treated it as bonus income. It could be a bit more than $60 or a bit less. Either way, I highly recommend using it — it’s a useful little feature.
I started running on January 25 and this campaign is still live. That said, I wasn’t running it every day — maybe 9 days out of the total. Weekends, waiting for payouts, stuff like that. The combo is completely alive! It’s been running almost passively and can definitely be scaled — I just don’t need more since I’m running other offers too.
Push is alive and well — especially in DatsPush! For beginners, I’d recommend starting with cheaper countries so you can get a feel for push traffic without taking big losses if you’re still learning the ropes.
That’s my success story — thanks for reading, and that’s a wrap :)!
