Conclusion

Dao.Ad is a platform for both monetizing traffic and buying quality traffic. In this review we covered it from the publisher monetization angle, and our takeaways are: high earnings, simple integration, knowledgeable support, detailed statistics, a clean dashboard, and the ability to monetize mobile apps. This is an ad network from the owners of TerraLeads, ApiLead, ZipMonster, and InstallMonster. Dao.Ad has been in the market for several years (previously under the DaoPush brand) and has built a large base of advertisers who pay well for traffic. If you have a site with traffic, we can only recommend trying this platform. And if you’re an affiliate marketer driving traffic to push subscription funnels, Dao.Ad is also a great fit — they have a solid selection of converting landing pages and high payouts for push traffic.
My experience with DaoPush is decidedly negative because the network refuses to make any exceptions for partners — basically zero flexibility. I asked them to close my account and pay out my remaining balance of $7.52 (minimum payout is $10) since I’m completely done with traffic. They said the minimum is $10 and there will be no exceptions.
The manager said their payout threshold starts at $10, one of the lowest on the market. I pointed out that plenty of networks pay from $5, and the manager said he doesn’t know of any network with a $5 minimum. But if you just look at push network ratings on any review site, you’ll see plenty with thresholds under $10. To me that’s either misleading or the manager just doesn’t know the market.
When I asked why they won’t work with partners on this, the manager said they DO and offered me good conditions to run more traffic. Even though I’d already said I’m done with traffic altogether. Weird, but ok, maybe he just wasn’t paying attention.
After all that back and forth, the manager said he’d discuss my situation with his team and get back to me. Four days later I had to follow up myself since nobody reached out. Manager said he’d respond within the day. Nobody wrote that day. Or the next day. Maybe they’re swamped, maybe they just don’t care, who knows. Had to write again myself and got another rejection — rules are rules, no exceptions.
The manager also said I was “wrong at minimum” for expecting them to break their rules. Interesting — so what was the point of “discussing with colleagues” and stringing me along? And if I’m “wrong at minimum,” what am I wrong about “at maximum”?
Then the manager apparently decided to pull up my stats and said I last ran traffic 2 years ago and they don’t know what kind of traffic I was sending. How does that affect my request to close my account and settle up?
Basically I’m just asking them to close my account and pay what they owe, and the manager keeps talking about how the rules are on their side, when all I asked for was basic human decency.
Of course, even if I ever get back into traffic, it definitely won’t be with DaoPush.
This is all my personal opinion about this company. Attaching screenshots of my account and all conversations so I’m not just talking. I’m not claiming to be right or wrong here, just describing the situation and my experience dealing with this company.
