Bright Data Review
In this review we’ll cover the proxy service Bright Data. Previously known as Luminati Networks, the team recently went through a rebranding. The proxy service has been on the market since 2014 and has built an excellent reputation. In this review we’ll look at what proxies Bright Data currently offers and what their pricing looks like. Let’s get started!
Proxy Types:

- Datacenter Proxies. The most affordable proxies, suited for less demanding tasks. 100% uptime, 770,000+ IP addresses from around the world, enabling broad targeting.
- Mobile Proxies. IP addresses from mobile carriers worldwide. 7M+ IPs, 99.99% uptime, extensive targeting options across many parameters. Suitable for any task, even the most demanding.
- Residential Proxies. Bright Data has 72M+ residential IP addresses. Automatic rotation available, extremely broad targeting options, and the highest quality. In our view, this is the best value for money. An excellent choice for Facebook and Google.
- Web Scraping Proxies. A website scraping service. Allows you to unblock access to sites, automatically solve CAPTCHAs, and monitor sites for changes — plus many other advantages. We recommend reading more about it on the Bright Data website if you regularly scrape large volumes of data.
- ISP Proxies. A network of residential IPs from internet service providers worldwide. Only real IP addresses, 100% uptime, high speed, wide coverage. 110,000+ IPs from countries around the world.
Pricing:

Pricing depends on the proxy type. Bright Data primarily uses a subscription model — you purchase a monthly plan with a set amount of traffic.
Residential proxies start at $500/month. The per-GB price is $12.50, but the more GB you buy, the cheaper each one gets. Mobile proxies also start from $500/month, at $30 per GB.
For testing, you can purchase a 7-day trial subscription for just $20.
How to Buy Proxies?

To purchase proxies, register in the Bright Data dashboard. Go to the site and click “Sign Up”, then fill out the form and confirm your email.
To purchase mobile or residential proxies, you’ll need to complete a verification process — provide your information and explain how you’ll be using the proxies, and upload identity documents. Verification only needs to be done once, at the start.
After verification, you’ll have access to the full functionality of the service — all proxy types, the proxy manager, and browser extensions.
You can top up your balance via bank card, PayPal, Payoneer, AliPay, or Wire. When paying by card, you can set up automatic billing — very convenient.
Final Thoughts:

Bright Data is a proxy service formerly known as Luminati, with 6 years of experience in the market. What we liked: 70M+ real-device IPs, high proxy quality, a wide range of proxy types, a massive global IP pool, extensive targeting, a convenient proxy manager, a native browser extension, a free trial, and 24/7 support. We strongly recommend trying Bright Data if you use proxies.
Proxies from Bright Data are genuinely top-tier and suitable for any task, no matter how demanding. We especially recommend their residential proxies — the best choice for Facebook and Google Ads.
